30 students of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Surat have passed the board exams with great results in May 2018. This was the second batch of the school to take the board exams, and have achieved a cent percent outcome i.e. 100% pass result. Achievement of Devesh Pandey is commendable. Inspite of all hardships, he has topped the school with 90.8% aggregate with a perfect 100 in Mathematics and 97 marks in science to his credit, also positioning him as the subject topper for these two. Followed by him, Nirgoon Joshi secured 2nd position in the toppers list with 89.8% marks. Naman Jain and Ujwal Pandey shared the 3rd rank scoring 87.6% marks each. Mentioning about the subject toppers - Nirgoon Joshi scored 93 in English, Pradhuman Pareek scored 92 in Hindi, while Naman and Ujwal again shared the subject topper position for social science, scoring 90 marks each. Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Ashok Raj – Principal, GIIS Surat said, “Students and teachers have collectively put in the best efforts and their immense hard work has finally paid off. Our students have made us proud. Last year we got a cent percent result and this year too we continue to maintain our set benchmark.” “Our teachers have really put in a lot of hard work and helped students attain such results. We are proud of the current batch of class 10 as they have excelled the board examinations with flying colours”, said Mr. Rajeev Katyal – Deputy COO, GIIS. With no doubt, this notable performance in the Board Exams is the outcome of the collaborative effort that has been achieved by the focused, hardworking students, motivated faculty and supportive parents.
