Life is fun until you celebrate Children's Day

Children’s day is celebrated on November 14 in remembrance of India’s first prime minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary. He had a dear affection for kids. The occasion was celebrated in our school with splendor and enthusiasm. The students were thrilled to the brink and enjoyed themselves at their best.

The event was celebrated separately for Pre-primary, Primary, and secondary. The event began with morning prayer, followed by an assembly conducted by teachers for their students. This time teachers were on stage and presenting and conducting an event.

For pre-primary, they were buzzing with excitement. Students came in colorful dresses. Teachers organized a plethora of activities for kids and they were impossible to be seated in place. There was bowling, blowing bubbles, and musical chairs. Children were enthralled when they got a chance to groove on their favorite tunes. Teachers also performed a skit for students where they enacted as students and signified how they should behave in classrooms and school.

For Primary students as well it was more or less the same. But this time teachers had a dance performance prepared, which caught students by surprise. Whereas for secondary students, balloons were showered upon them on the arrival and that began the assembly. Teachers had many performances prepared, including recitations, singing and dancing.

The whole school was thrilled on this day and got back home with a bunch of smiles and memories. The day ended with distribution of chocolates in handmade baskets, with cards and stickers as a small token of love.
