Bringing together curiosity, knowledge, and teamwork, GIIS Nagpur successfully hosted QUIZATHON 2026, an engaging house-wise quiz competition. Designed to promote awareness about environmental sustainability and celestial knowledge, the event created a dynamic platform for students to learn and showcase their understanding.

Covering a wide range of meaningful and thought-provoking topics, the quiz included themes such as Conservation of Nature, Wildlife and Biodiversity, Climate Change and Global Warming, Save Water and Resources, the principles of Reduce–Reuse–Recycle, Eco Warriors, and Celestial Wonders. Through these, students were encouraged to reflect on global challenges while expanding their knowledge of the natural world and beyond.

Beginning with a semi-final round, the competition set the stage for an exciting finale, with teams striving to secure their place among the top contenders. Students from the four houses — Chrysanthemum, Orchid, Hibiscus, and Sunflower — participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating impressive knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking.

Adding to the excitement, the grand finale witnessed an intense and closely contested battle among the finalists. Sunflower House emerged as the winner, while Chrysanthemum House secured the second runner-up position. Their performances highlighted dedication, preparation, and a strong spirit of collaboration.

More than just a competition, QUIZATHON 2026 served as a meaningful learning experience that encouraged students to stay informed about environmental issues while developing essential skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and confidence. It truly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible, aware, and knowledgeable global citizens.
