Education is not just confined to the four walls of a classroom. It goes beyond textbooks and exams, aiming to create well-rounded individuals who are aware of global issues and equipped with the skills to tackle them. The IIMUN Delhi Conference 2023 provided a platform for 27 students from GIIS Noida to showcase their knowledge, confidence, and leadership abilities. With 12 diverse committees and 5 engaging sessions, the conference proved to be an unforgettable experience for the participants.
The young participants were assigned the roles of delegates from various countries and ministers in their respective committees. Despite being mostly first-timers, they embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication. Through extensive research, they familiarized themselves with the policies and perspectives of their assigned nations, gaining a deeper understanding of global affairs.
The students' hard work and preparation paid off as they engaged in rigorous debates and discussions on critical issues. With conviction and eloquence, they presented their viewpoints, negotiated alliances, and built consensus. Their impressive ability to articulate their thoughts effectively demonstrated the confidence they had developed throughout the conference.
The noteworthy performance of our students did not go unnoticed. Amani Neekhra, with her exceptional diplomacy skills, received a HIGH RECOMMENDATION for her outstanding contribution. Inesh Jain and Abeer were recognized with a VERBAL MENTION, highlighting their impactful presence in their respective committees. The dedication and commitment exhibited by all participants were celebrated with participation certificates, acknowledging their efforts in making the conference a success.
The conference nurtured their ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively. By addressing real-world problems, these young minds have taken a step towards becoming responsible and confident leaders of tomorrow.
