To honour this invaluable heritage, Global Indian International School (GIIS) Nagpur celebrated Hindi Divas with students from Grades 3 to 8, creating a joyful and inspiring atmosphere filled with learning and cultural pride.

The event, held in the MPH hall of GIIS Nagpur, was a vibrant showcase of students’ talent and enthusiasm. A special presentation was conducted on the theme ‘Poem Recitation and the Importance of Hindi Language’. Students actively participated in the poem recitation, presenting poems and doha with confidence, clarity, and expression.

The inclusion of couplets by great poets like Kabir, Rahim, and Tulsidas added depth to the programme, reminding everyone of the timeless values and wisdom embedded in Hindi literature. Through heartfelt verses and speeches, students highlighted how Hindi serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity, uniting the nation with its simplicity and beauty.

The event was not only a cultural celebration but also an opportunity for students to build public speaking skills, enhance self-expression, and develop a deep respect for their national language.
