Tiny toddlers celebrate Grandparents day in school

INDORE, 11 SEPTEMBER, 2018 - Grandparents are rays of sunshine in a family; they are a family&#39;s greatest treasure. They fill the growing years of their grandchildren with unconditional love and care which no one else can replicate. The wisdom and experience they possess make children worthy of so much more than ordinary.

Global Indian International School (GIIS), Indore celebrated grandparents&#39; day in the school premises for the pre-primary wing; the celebration area was beautifully decorated with different cut outs prepared by the students themselves to express their love, respect and gratitude towards their grandparents. It was an endeavour of the school to teach the young generation, an unique role grandparents play in our lives.

After lighting of the lamp, tiny toddlers presented a melodious song parody for all the grandparents present. Sharing her views, Dr. (Capt.) Dinisha Bhardawaj - Principal, GIIS Indore discussed about the imperative role of grandparents in bringing up of children. She also briefed them with the security measures the school has adopted to ensure safety and security of their grandchildren within the campus.

The best part of the day was an experience sharing session by the grandparents present who enthusiastically shared the most memorable memory of their grandchild with everyone. It was a delight to see such overwhelming participation by all the grandparents present. They were thrilled, delighted and emotional as they performed with their grandchildren on stage.

All grandparents appreciated the efforts of the school. They absolutely adored the idea of celebrating Grand Parent&rsquo;s Day with such emotions and demeanour. Sharing their happiness, one of the grandparents said- &quot;We are amazed at the excellent planning that has gone into the sequence of events presented by children on stage. We are deeply touched to see such strong bonds between all the grandparents and their grandchildren. Thank you for giving a wonderful and memorable day along with our grandchild. We are indeed grateful to every member of the teaching faculty and the staff. We couldn&rsquo;t have chosen a better school than GIIS for our grandchildren.
