INDORE, 23 AUGUST, 2018 - Leadership is a quality that is instilled among children through proper guidance and training; one is not born with it. Global Indian International School (GIIS), Indore promotes leadership building activities to make the youth of today focused and directed towards success.

As a part of the Leadership Lectures Series (LLS), a motivational session was delivered by the NCC Commanding officer - Col. Asit Kansal of the 9 MP Battalion for grade 8-9 students. He has more than 40 schools and colleges under his jurisdiction and has been giving motivational sessions to students to help them in setting goals or targets for professional growth.

In his interactive session he guided students to aim and acquire certifications by taking different levels of exams i.e. A, B & C+ of N.C.C that can give them an edge in civil services or other competitive exams. During his lecture, he spoke some beautiful lines that deeply motivated our students. He said, "direction is very important for channelizing and directing students in academics or extra-curricular activities. Children must be clear of their choices and future actions and the parents must support their child's choice and liking for a particular area in which they want to build up a career."

He elaborately spoke to students about profound planning, the killing spirit and dedication of a soldier who is only focused on one thing i.e. maintaining the country's freedom and not compromising it at any cost.

The objective here was to motivate students to work hard and bring a paradigm shift in their approach and subsequently their lives that helps them beyond miracles.
