INDORE, 7 MAY, 2018 - It is indeed a proud moment for Global Indian International School (GIIS), Indore as our school students showcased outstanding IT Skills in the COMPUDON the Championship-2018 Certification. Eleven students in total from grades 8, 9 and 10 participated in the exam and each one of them cleared the exam with flying colours.
Out of the participating lot, eight students secured the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS)-2018. Each one of them performed remarkably well. The minimum number of marks required to qualify the exam were 700 out of 1000 and our students secured a minimum score of 900, which is commendable. Disha Tiwari, one of the participant and our school student secured 937 marks, setting an example for other IT enthusiasts of the school.
All the students, who appeared for the championship, were guided under the able mentorship of Mr. Kundan Parmar - HOD IT, GIIS Indore. The kind of dedication and inclination these students showcased towards the subject was admirable. They took daily extra classes and stayed back after school hours to perfect their skills and knowledge of the subject.
Teachers and mentors at GIIS Indore were positive about results as they believed that children with such calibre and hardworking attitude are bound to shine bright; whatever they have learned and practiced will surely reap exceptional results for them and the school. We congratulate all the students for this spectacular achievement.
