We celebrate each child’s success.
It was a memorable day for the Kindergarten students as they graduated to class I. The ceremony started with a summary of achievements of the students during the pre-primary years. The parents got a glimpse of the teaching-learning methodologies at GIIS.
The programme started with the lighting of the lamp of knowledge and it was followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Capt. Dinisha Bharadwaj, Principal GIIS Indore. The teachers of Pre-primary section dedicated a song ‘I have a dream ‘to the students wishing them all the very best for the years to come. Ms. Sarika Bhatia shared a presentation on Montessori methodology followed under the Global Montessori Programme at GIIS and this was substantiated with a demonstration by pre-primary students. All the parents were mesmerised by the performance of tiny tots. ‘Hakuna - matata’ and ‘Chicken dance’ were presented by Nursery and KGI children, which enthralled the audience. Ms Bhavna, Ms Kashish and Ms Ritu, class teachers of pre-primary section spoke about the special moments that they have shared with the students. They wished them the very best in life. The programme continued with the introduction of class teachers and all the co-scholastic teachers of Primary section by Ms Abha Raj, Academic Co-ordinator.
The little Mont Graduates walked across the stage in little strides with new found confidence, wearing graduation hats to receive their certificates. This annual ritual added colour to their passing out from the Pre-primary wing.
Principal, GIIS Indore handed over the graduation certificate to the students and shared her plans that would be adopted in class I. She assured the parents that the teachers would hand-hold every single kid for a smooth transition to class I. The graduation ceremony was a happy celebration that would leave a lasting impression in the young student’s mind.
The little ones got a standing ovation when they were being presented with a memento of their end of Kindergarten journey and were showered with blessings by the guests and the parents alike. All the proud graduates performed on” we are all in this together “along with their beloved teachers. The function ended with the ceremonial vote of thanks by Ms Sarika Bhatia.
