GIIS Ahmedabad’s superstars have always made the school proud by displaying the spirit of sportsmanship along with academic excellence. Their focus on sports excellence reflects in the enthusiastic participation of students in many sports competitions held in school, district, state and national levels. Six students had participated in the Gujarat State Athletics Championship, organized by SSPF (School Sports Promotion Foundation), held at Baroda on 16th and 17th August, 2017, after making a significant mark in the District level. All of them performed very well in their respective games. It is a proud and happy moment for all of us to cheer for the 5 Sport Champs of GIIS Ahmedabad who have bagged 4 Golds and 2 Bronze Medals at state level and have now qualified for SSPF Nationals.

The students were accompanied by their teachers Mr. Dilip and Ms. Disha who have always shown great dedication in training all the students.
