GIIS Ahmedabad successfully organised GIIS IDEATE 4.0 on 16th and 17th December 2025, reaffirming its commitment to holistic and future-ready education. The fourth edition of this flagship inter-school competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 18 schools and more than 800 students across Gujarat, transforming the campus into a vibrant platform of ideas, imagination and innovation.

IDEATE, an acronym for Innovation, Design, Expression, Art & Creation, Technology and Engineering, featured nearly 30 diverse competitions across music, technology, fashion, art, drama, dance, sustainability and entrepreneurship. Students from kindergarten to senior categories showcased creativity, problem-solving abilities and collaboration, truly reflecting the spirit of experiential learning.

This edition also introduced engaging competitions such as Vivid Storytellers, Scienceporium, Young Brainiacs, Tiny Innovators, Drama Drizzle, Beat the Beats, Chai Pe Charcha and Parents’ Insight, making the event more inclusive and dynamic.

GIIS IDEATE 4.0 concluded with two well-structured valedictory ceremonies. The first honoured achievers from the Kindergarten to Lower Primary categories, while the second recognised winners from the Upper Primary to Senior categories, along with teachers and parents. First, second and third position awards were presented, celebrating excellence, innovation and consistent effort.

For outstanding participation, DAV International School received the Maximum Participation Award, with a special mention to St. Joseph School, Mehsana. The Overall Champions were announced with pride:

• 1st Runner-Up: SKUM School and GIIS Ahmedabad Afternoon Shift (Joint Winners)
• 2nd Runner-Up: SGVP International School

The event was graced by Ms Kirti Panwar, Miss India International 2023 and Miss Iconic Gujarat 2024, as the Chief Guest. She encouraged students to believe in their ideas, stating, “Platforms like GIIS IDEATE empower students to express themselves with confidence. Innovation begins when young minds are encouraged to think freely and creatively.”

Sharing the vision behind the event, Ms Ruchika Dhingra, Event Coordinator, remarked, “GIIS IDEATE 4.0 was designed to ignite curiosity and inspire innovation through hands-on and experiential learning.”

Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Principal Mr Caesar D’silva said, “GIIS IDEATE truly reflects our philosophy of holistic education by nurturing creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills essential for success in an ever-evolving world.”

With vibrant participation and inspiring performances, GIIS IDEATE 4.0 set a new benchmark for inter-school competitions, reinforcing GIIS Ahmedabad’s commitment to shaping confident, innovative and future-ready learners.
