Greetings from GIIS Ahmedabad!

Warm wishes to our parents, teachers, students and all esteemed stakeholders for a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. As we step into 2026, may the year ahead bring renewed hope, purposeful learning, and continued success for the entire GIIS Ahmedabad community.

December 2025 marked a powerful and fulfilling conclusion to this year, reflecting months of preparation, perseverance, and collective effort. The month was particularly special as it hosted two of our most anticipated inter-school competitions, each celebrating a distinct dimension of student excellence.

The GIIS Inter-School Sports Fest 2.0 brought together young athletes in an atmosphere of energy, discipline, and sportsmanship. Students demonstrated physical strength, teamwork, and resilience, reinforcing the values of fitness, perseverance, and fair play. The event served as a reminder that sports play a vital role in building character and leadership.

Equally significant was GIIS IDEATE 4.0, our flagship inter-school innovation competition. This platform encouraged students to think critically and creatively while presenting ideas rooted in problem-solving and real-world relevance. IDEATE 4.0 highlighted our focus on nurturing young innovators who are confident, curious, and prepared for future challenges.

The sporting spirit continued with the GIIS Annual Sports Meet 2025, organised for students from GMP to Grade 4 across both Morning and Afternoon Shifts. This vibrant celebration of movement and participation allowed our youngest learners to experience the joy of healthy competition while developing confidence, coordination, and discipline from an early age.

Our students further brought pride to the school through exceptional achievements beyond the campus. The U-14 Boys and Girls Basketball teams emerged as champions, showcasing teamwork, determination, and strategic thinking. Individual excellence shone through Siddhi Agarwal’s remarkable achievement in swimming, while our Karate champions impressed with their skill and focus at the 19th Gujarat State Shito-Ryu Karate Competition and the Khel Mahakumbh Tournament.

December also celebrated academic curiosity and festive warmth. National Mathematics Day was observed to celebrate the birth anniversary of S. Ramanujan, who inspired students to appreciate mathematics as a subject of logic, creativity, and real-life application. The month concluded with joyous Christmas celebrations, spreading messages of love, gratitude, kindness, and togetherness across the campus.

As we welcome the New Year 2026, GIIS Ahmedabad renews its commitment to holistic development, balancing academics, sports, innovation, values, and student well-being. With the continued support of our parents and stakeholders, we look forward to nurturing confident, compassionate, and future-ready global citizens in the year ahead.
