Living up to this inspiring thought, GIIS Ahmedabad proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its Under-14 Basketball teams at the Khel Mahakumbh 2025 District-Level Competition, where both the girls and boys teams secured an impressive 2nd place. This outstanding performance highlights not only sporting excellence but also the values of perseverance, teamwork, and determination that GIIS Ahmedabad consistently instills in its students.

The Khel Mahakumbh District Level Basketball Competition was held at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Naranpura, Ahmedabad, featuring matches for the U-14 Boys and U-14 Girls. Competing against some of the best teams in the district, GIIS Ahmedabad’s young basketball players displayed exceptional skill, tactical awareness, and true sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The U-14 Girls Basketball Team impressed with their strong coordination and fighting spirit. The team included Janya Bhatt, Ananya Shukla, Riddhi Kotad, Natania Samy, Sanvi Pati, Ira Salvi, and Ramya Madan, who played with confidence and consistency, earning well-deserved appreciation from officials and spectators.

The U-14 Boys Basketball Team also delivered a powerful performance. The team was represented by Hreem Trivedi, Raja Patel, Shubh Mundra, Rachit Mishra, Kavyansh Agarwal, Mahaksh Rahevar, Reehan Patel, Aevin Bilwal, Rajat Agarwal, Kulraj Sharma, and Tanmay Kumar. Their teamwork, discipline, and strategic play were key factors in securing the runners-up position at the district level.
