Dear Parents,

And it’s a wrap! Wrap of another rich academic year – if soul-nourishing and soul-enriching can be used in the same breath, this year has been one - like a warm, nourishing soup on a cold wintry evening that provides us with a snug and fuzzy feeling, comforting us that all’s well with the world. Our students are also warm, providing us with love, laughter, and joy and a timely reminder of why we do what we do.

As they say, never stop learning as life never stops teaching. We hope the students of Grades 6-8 will take this adage forward as they embark on a fun trip to Malaysia where they will explore the terrain and visit gardens indigenous to the area. To sensitise the students about entitlement and deprivation, they will also visit an orphanage. Grade 9 will be going to Vietnam where their itinerary will be packed with museum visits and fun-filled activities. Our tiny tots were also not left behind as they had a super exciting day camp in school followed by a SEA museum visit. As we firmly believe, we learn the best when we are the happiest and with friends.

As the new academic session begins, we hope to welcome all the students with open arms as the school gets a ‘makeover’. They will be pleasantly surprised with the freshly painted classrooms and the colorful, vibrant, and eye-catching décor. We request our parents' community to drop by and have a look at the renovation and continue to motivate us to give our best. We are always open to collaboration and constructive criticism as we feel that we should grow as a community and you have our best interest in mind.

Very happy to update you on the progress towards the authorisation process for EC as an IBDP Candidate school. Ms Rashida Paghdiwala has been appointed as DP Coordinator and all the required teachers for various subjects have been recruited as well. As a further step towards authorisation, the DP consultant visit is due in the first week of May.

Enjoy your break and come back rejuvenated. Be assured you’ll find us waiting for you, ready to again wrap ourselves in the warm embrace of our students for the next academic year…yet again.
