The newly elected student council of the East Coast campus took oath during the Investiture Ceremony held on May 18, 2022. As part of the event, the elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes in the presence of the august gathering.

The ceremony started with the student council marching proudly toward the stage enthralling the audience. It was followed by an inspiring speech by Mr CVK Shastry, Principal, East Coast campus which motivated the students as they step into the new leadership roles.

Mr Prafulla Rout, Senior Director and Group Finance Controller and Commander Bharatkumar Unercat, Senior Director Business Development and Project graced the ceremony as chief guests and congratulated the young leaders. They encouraged the students with their words of wisdom.

The Head Boy and the Head Girl delivered their speeches and encouraged their entire team for the new academic year. The zeal of the council was reflected in their confidence and dedication to execute their work.

Overall, the event was a great success wherein the audience was mesmerised watching the performance by the GIIS East Coast choir. The ceremony concluded with the School Song and national anthem.

The annual Investiture Ceremony is a much-awaited event, wherein students join in with a high level of excitement, and a sense of achievement as they work towards setting new goals and touching new heights.
