Kaizen Club at GIIS Bannerghatta SMART Campus was established in July 2021 with a hope to inculcate the mindset of continuous improvement. A Japanese business philosophy regarding the processes that continuously improve operations and involve all employees, Kaizen has been adopted across all GIIS Campuses as a best practice to be nurtured and given wings to. Two student ambassadors from Grade 6 were roped in to involve the student fraternity.

The GIIS Bannerghatta Campus has made good progress in the past few months and has recorded the feat of 25 Kaizen ideas and many more in the pipeline. Kaizen has given a new lease of life in the day-to-day lives of students and staff alike and has brought great enthusiasm, ownership, and leadership skills to the fore. Ideas ranging from a Digital Wall of Fame, Eye Exercises to relax the young ones during the breaks, in-house training on etiquette for our support staff, organized and clutter-free store to keeping the admission files in order and some of the simplest ideas have made a huge impact to the overall “change for the better mindset”.

All our efforts on this journey of transformation bore fruit when we won the Kaizen Silver Award as a part of the Kaizen Gallery Awards at the Global Excellence Day 2021 held in the first week of September. We hope to soar and evolve on this ongoing journey to excellence.
