GIIS Bannerghatta recently celebrated Innovation Week, a dynamic showcase of inventive teaching techniques and creative learning experiences that left both students and parents in awe. The campus came alive with a spirit of exploration as young minds delved into a diverse array of activities designed to stimulate curiosity, foster self-directed learning, and ignite a passion for innovation.

The Innovative activities were planned and divided for five days. Day one kicked off with the enchantment of AR cards, bringing the wonders of augmented reality to the classroom. GIIS Bannerghatta witnessed students’ marvels through lifelike projections of animals, embarking on a self-directed learning adventure that created lasting memories.

As we ventured into day two, young minds transformed into scientists, experimenting with the art of dyeing old t-shirts. Clad in gloves and exploring the potential of fabric bleach, learners discovered the joy of hands-on experimentation, marking their initial foray into turning ordinary t-shirts into canvases of creativity. Day three unveiled the magic of the Math Magic booth, turning math learning into a delightful experience. Students inserted cards with math questions, witnessing the booth magically produce answers, making mathematical exploration engaging and enjoyable.

On day four, the introduction of the Art Bot, a fusion of technology and creativity, ignited the enthusiasm of kindergarteners. The motor-connected bot inspired students to explore their artistic inclinations, unleashing exciting possibilities with new technology. The grand finale on Day five showcased active parent participation in the creative journey. Collaborating with their children, parents crafted innovative teaching aids, transforming learning into an educational and collaborative adventure.
