GIIS Bannerghatta’s students won third place at the Japan quiz

Sanjay Aravind and Madhav Sreeraj, Grade 9 students from GIIS Bannerghatta, won the coveted third position at the eagerly awaited Japan Quiz in a magnificent demonstration of brilliance and perseverance. The function was a part of the prestigious Indian Institute of Science's Japan Habba Festival, which was held in Bangalore.

 

Our students competed against numerous prestigious schools from all around Bangalore, displaying their in-depth knowledge and love of Japan that earned them a well-deserved place on the winners' podium. Their success is a demonstration to their tenacious effort, as they meticulously studied a wealth of trivia and facts about Japan in order to recollect and apply their knowledge on the day of the exam.

 

The Grade 9 students Sanjay, Madhav, Khem, and Vikhyath enthusiastically embraced the distinctive and thrilling aspect of this event, which offered an enthralling fusion of Japanese culture. The atmosphere was electric as participants learned about the intricate traditions and legacy of the country  as they established lifelong friendships and memories.

 

The prestigious Indo Japanese Chamber of Commerce organized the Japan Quiz in collaboration with the esteemed University of Tokyo, which not only celebrated the strong ties between India and Japan but also gave young minds a place to explore and appreciate the alluring facets of Japanese culture.

 

Sanjay and Madhav's amazing accomplishment was praised by Mr. Girish Arabbi, principal of GIIS Bannerghatta, who said, "We are incredibly proud of our students' remarkable performance at the Japan Quiz. Their accomplishments are evidence of their commitment and ardor for learning. Other kids will definitely be motivated by this accomplishment to learn more about other cultures and broaden their perspectives.

 

Sanjay Aravind and Madhav Sreeraj have the support of the entire GIIS Bannerghatta community for their outstanding performance in the Japan Quiz. Their exceptional accomplishment not only represents the vast skill and potential that exists among our student body but also brings great honor to their school. Future GIIS students will definitely be motivated to strive for excellence and pursue their passions with unyielding tenacity by their accomplishment.
