Greetings from GIIS Ahmedabad!

November at GIIS Ahmedabad has been a remarkable tapestry of achievements, innovation, and holistic learning - each moment reflecting our commitment to nurturing well-rounded, future-ready learners. This month has showcased the power of perseverance, creativity, resilience, and teamwork across all segments of student development, making it one of the most memorable phases of the academic year.

We begin with one of the most illustrious accomplishments of the year, Aditri Shome’s resounding victory at the Commonwealth Chess Championship 2025, where she emerged as the champion, elevating India and GIIS Ahmedabad to global recognition. Her strategic brilliance and composure exemplify academic excellence at its best. Equally commendable is our recognition as the IMC First Runner-Up in the Education Category at the MQH Best Practices Competition. This prestigious honour underscores our dedication to progressive practices, innovation, and institutional excellence.

Our students also excelled in sports this month. Their remarkable performances at the Khel Mahakumbh Taluka-level competitions and the Zonal-level Khel Mahakumbh Chess Tournaments highlighted their discipline, skill, and perseverance. A special moment for us was when our students led the Ahmedabad Rural U-14 Boys team to victory at the SGFI State Championship, demonstrating leadership, teamwork, and confidence on the field.

Beyond academics and sports, November also nurtured personal growth and emotional well-being. During the Mental Health Week, students participated in reflective, meaningful activities that encouraged them to understand their emotions, practice kindness, and build inner strength. 

Our young learners enjoyed practical, hands-on experiences through the K2 Kitchen Safety Presentation and Montessori Chopping Activity, helping them develop independence and important life skills. Creativity and curiosity came alive during GIIS Garage - Little Mechanic, while GMP Happiness Week filled the campus with smiles, gratitude, and joyful moments.

As we step into December, the excitement grows with the upcoming Interschool Sports Fest, GIIS IDEATE 4.0, energetic Sports Day, and the warmth of Christmas celebrations. With the New Year around the corner, we extend our heartfelt wishes to all the families for happiness, good health, and new beginnings.
