Global Indian International School, Ahmedabad is proud to announce that Mann A. Shah of the school has secured International Rank One in SOF - National Science Olympiad. He has been awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 along with an International Gold Medal and a certificate of Outstanding Performance.

Mann participated during the 2018-19 academic session in the worldwide competition organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) that had more than 50,000 schools from over 1400 cities in 30 countries registered for the 6 SOF Olympiads. Millions of students had participated and our little scholar paved his way to success with sheer intelligence and grit.

Mann Shah also went onto win the Zonal round for which he won a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and a certificate of Zonal Excellence in IEO (International English Olympiad). The final awards ceremony to felicitate the winners was held on 2nd June 2019 in New Delhi.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Caesar D'Silva, Principal, GIIS Ahmedabad, said,"GIIS has always been a believer and a provider of quality education to its students. Our aim is to provide each of our students with exposure that gives them the right kind of platform to showcase and nurture their talent." He also added - "I am extremely proud of Mann’s achievements at the SOF's National Science Olympiad competition. I hope looking at him, other students will also be motivated and inspired to take up such challenges and emerge as a winner, making us proud on an International platform."
