Dear Parent,

The month of May was a time of joyful rest and rejuvenation for our students as they enjoyed their much-deserved summer break. This pause from routine offered a chance to relax, explore hobbies and spend meaningful time with family, just the kind of reset young minds need before embracing new academic challenges. Even amidst this calm, GIIS Ahmedabad has continued to shine with remarkable achievements and milestones that fill us with pride and purpose.

We are elated to announce the outstanding results of our Grade 10 and 12 students in the CBSE Board Exams. Their success stands as a testament to their perseverance, the guidance of our teachers and the constant encouragement from their families.

Adding to our celebrations is the proud achievement of Dhyey Buch, who secured an All India Rank of 1991 in JEE Advanced, after scoring an impressive 99.71 percentile in JEE Main. His journey from classroom learning to success at the national level shows the power of hard work, focus, and a strong support system at GIIS. 

In the field of cultural excellence, GIIS Ahmedabad was honoured with the INTACH Heritage Award for the 11th consecutive year, along with the distinguished Best Heritage Award 2024-25, marking our unwavering commitment to preserving India’s rich legacy.

Our students also shone in sports – the U-14 Boys Basketball Team emerged as champions in Khel Mahakumbh 3.0, displaying sheer grit, sportsmanship and unity. 

To guide students beyond academics, we hosted Career Day focused on Defence and HR & IR, with inspiring speakers like Commander Rajiv Singh (Ex-Naval Officer, IIM Ahmedabad alumnus) and Dr. Urjit Kavi, helping students explore meaningful career paths.

As the summer break draws to a close, I warmly welcome all students to a new academic year. Let us begin this new chapter with curiosity, commitment and the courage to dream big.
