“Dance is the hidden language of the soul.” - Uday Shankar, Indian Dance and Choreographer
At Global Indian International School (GIIS), Ahmedabad, we celebrate every child’s unique talent and creativity. Our GMP-K2 students recently took the spotlight, winning first place at the LML Dance Competition 2025. True to Uday Shankar’s words, their performance was not just dance; it was an expression of joy, confidence, and teamwork that captivated everyone present.
With 19 enthusiastic young performers representing GIIS Ahmedabad, the ‘Jungle Safari’ themed performance brought the stage alive with rhythm, colours, and storytelling. Competing against 23 schools, our little stars mesmerised judges and audiences alike, proving that age is no barrier to talent and creativity. Their energy, coordination, and spirit of teamwork made this victory a truly memorable moment for the entire school community.
The GMP coordinator, Ms. Ritu Srivastava, said, “Watching our little ones perform with such confidence and enthusiasm was an absolute joy. Their hard work and creativity truly reflected the values of our GMP programme, and this achievement is a proud milestone for both the students and the entire GIIS Ahmedabad family.”
Congratulating our little champions, Principal, Mr. Caesar D’silva said, “Congratulations to our K2 students on this remarkable achievement! At GIIS Ahmedabad, we strive for holistic development, nurturing creativity, confidence, and teamwork alongside academics. This victory is a demonstration of the talent and spirit of our young learners.”
This achievement at the LML Dance Competition 2025 is a shining example of GIIS Ahmedabad’s commitment to fostering creativity, confidence, and holistic growth from the very beginning. These young achievers have set a benchmark for excellence, inspiring their peers and the school community. At GIIS Ahmedabad, every child is encouraged to dream, explore, and shine - on stage, in the classroom, and beyond.
