Global Indian International School, Ahmedabad recently conducted a Kindergarten-2 Graduation Day on March 13th, 2018.

While the tiny-tots adorned their graduation scarfs and caps happily enjoying the attention, the celebrations began with a prayer and the lighting of the auspicious lamp of knowledge.

Later then, the children spoke about the Global Montessori plus Programme which focuses on the holistic development of children, while mentioning the Five Pillars of Montessori Skills.

They set the stage ablaze and left everybody spellbound with their well-coordinated dance movements, Skits and other performances, such as, a short and meaningful skit, “The Enormous Turnip” which was based on Teamwork, GIIS Kaun Banega Crorepati - which was another small humorous skit presented by our little ones, a beautiful dance on Time Management and Punctuality, a short and meaningful mime based on the chain of Kindness or “Karma”.

The children also showcased the basic moves of Martial Arts learnt during the year, and a beautiful representation of the life-cycle of a Monarch Butterfly was presented by the tiny-tots followed by a beautiful dance.

They also enacted a short skit on Water Conservation which showcased the poor living condition in the year 2050, if humans did not mend their ways now.

Later, the principal addressed the gathering while emphasizing that the school not only offered the best in academics but also encouraged an overall development of the child through manifold extra-curricular activities conducted regularly.

An interactive session with Parents was organized wherein the parents were asked certain questions and feedback regarding the skits and other performances by their children.

It was indeed a joyous and memorable occasion.
