In a proud and historic moment for GIIS Ahmedabad, a team of young innovators has embarked on an extraordinary educational journey to NASA, USA, marking the school’s first-ever international space learning expedition. The trip symbolises a leap towards experiential learning and global exposure, reflecting GIIS’s vision of nurturing future-ready, curious minds.

The distinguished team consisting of Rudri Patel (9C-MS), Honey Patel (7A-MS), Dhairya Desai (9E-MS), and Dhwij Rabari (7B-MS), accompanied by their mentor Mr. Amit Singh, experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to delve into the wonders of space science. During their visit, the students explored NASA’s renowned research centres, interacted with eminent scientists, engineers, and astronauts, and engaged in collaborative sessions with peers from around the globe.

A highlight of the trip was witnessing the spectacular launch of SpaceX Falcon 9 Starlink 10-21, a defining moment that transformed their understanding of aerospace technology into tangible inspiration. Observing real-time rocket operations and learning about the intricate process behind space exploration left a lasting impression on their young, inquisitive minds.

Expressing his delight, Principal, Mr. Caesar D’silva shared, “We take immense pride in our students representing GIIS Ahmedabad and India on such a global platform. Their NASA experience will not only inspire scientific temper and innovation but also instil confidence and global awareness. Their journey reflects our belief that learning knows no boundaries when curiosity leads the way.”
