Global Indian International School (GIIS) Ahmedabad has been honoured with the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award 2025 in the Education category, one of India's most esteemed recognitions for organisational excellence and quality management.
The award was presented at a distinguished ceremony by cricket legend and Padma Bhushan awardee Mr. Sunil Gavaskar, in the presence of Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi. Receiving the trophy on behalf of the institution were Global Schools Group Co-Founder and Executive Chairman - Mr. Atul Temurnikar, Principal - Mr. Caesar D'Silva, Vice Principal Ms. Ruchika Dhingra, and Mr. Rathin Khandadia, Director – GCEE.
The IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award is widely regarded as a gold standard for institutional excellence in India, evaluating organisations across quality management, process effectiveness, and student outcomes. Being recognised in the Education category places GIIS Ahmedabad among a select group of institutions that have demonstrated this standard in practice, not just in principle.
The journey to this recognition was a school-wide effort. Faculty refined their classroom practices, administrative teams strengthened operational processes, and students embraced new approaches to learning with enthusiasm. Principal Mr. Caesar D'Silva reflected on the achievement: "This trophy is a testament to the fact that when a community shares a singular vision of 'Quality First,' the results are world-class. It is, without a doubt, the proudest moment of my career in education."
Vice Principal Ms. Ruchika Dhingra spoke of the rigour the process demanded: "The road to the IMC award is rigorous, it demands transparency, constant self-evaluation, and an unwavering focus on student outcomes. This trophy belongs to every teacher who went the extra mile and every student who aimed higher."
The school also extended its appreciation to Dr. Rathin Khandadia and the GCEE team for their guidance and expertise throughout the preparation process, which played a significant role in strengthening the institution's systems and processes.
For GIIS Ahmedabad, this award affirms what has been steadily taking shape within the school, a culture where quality is not an occasional goal but an everyday standard. As the institution moves into the next academic year, this recognition serves as both a validation of the work done and a foundation for what lies ahead.
