The month of February was a beautiful dusk to the academic year 2022-23. It was dipped in hues of togetherness.We, as a team, successfully hosted two mega events in the month and this wouldn’t have been possible without teamwork.

In the beginning, RWCC India was a major success on the theme ‘Sustainability- You Can Change the World’. It saw active participation from across geographies like GIIS Tokyo, KualaLumpur, Singapore, East Coast.  The event received innovative, entertaining, and thoughtful entries for each competition. Sharing the lesson of perseverance, our students of GIIS Balewadi won numerous laurels in different categories like Intellectual Combat, Junkyard, Dramatize, Graffiti, etc. The objective behind organizing this competition was to motivate young minds to network with a host of people and address problems of today. They were encouraged to research on a given topic, find solutions and present their opinions to the jury in the final round.

Next we celebrated the Annual Sports Meet 2022-23.The event received participation in full capacity and students performed meticulously on the d’day. We also saw parents present in big numbers to encourage their wards with all their might. The show witnessed an impeccable march past  led by headboy-headgirl for primary and secondary, and K2 and K1 students for the GMP section. The event was packed with a variety of drills, relays, and races. Students and teachers together left no stone unturned to make it a huge success, ending the session with an impact. 

In this month, students were also recognized for their outstanding performances in International English and GK Olympiad along with the wins at Gempak Veganza. To keep the month light hearted, class XII also had their farewell. Grade 11 students had planned it thoroughly and made sure to give their seniors a good time and memories to live by. 

Since the next month asks for focus and sincerity, GIIS Balewadi extends best wishes to all students for their upcoming annual examinations.

Together we look forward to the dawn of a new academic session and see you all on the other side.
