Students of Nursery, KG1 and KG2 of GIIS Smart Campus Balewadi came together to celebrate National Doctor’s Day on 1st July 2022.

The tiny tots came to know about the importance of doctors in our daily lives. The students also got to know that there are different types of doctors for different diseases.

National Doctor’s Day is observed on July 1 every year in memory of Dr Bidhan Roy, the former Chief Minister of Bengal, who was known for his selfless service to humanity.

It is a day when Indian Medical Association (IMA), celebrates all doctors and healthcare workers who have been serving the people of the country by risking their own lives.

The theme for National Doctors' Day 2022 was “Family Doctors on the Front Line."

A small celebration was held on the occasion in which students of GMP participated with great enthusiasm.

The school nurse Ms Pratibha was invited to the celebration. The little ones who were excited to meet the nurse gifted her a beautiful card and a bouquet, which they made with the assistance of their teachers.

The day turned out to be a memorable one for students as it was evident from their excitement when they interacted with the nurse and listened to their teachers speak about doctors.
