GIIS Tokyo students celebrate Holi as Arts Day

Holi is a special time of the year because we get to remember those who are close to our hearts, with splashing lively colours!

It is one of the most important festivals celebrated in India as it celebrates the arrival of spring and the end of winter. Holi is celebrated by meeting loved ones, playing with vibrant colours, experiencing joy, all while forgiving and forgetting past mistakes.

The festival of colour brings with it much joy and merry-making.  Kids love Holi because they get to apply colours to each other, sing, dance and eat delicious food together.

The Kindergarten students at GIIS Tokyo SSD campus celebrated Holi 2022 by creating spectacular artwork. Each class created beautiful art pieces with paint or oil crayons.

Some of the students' stellar painting creations included mosaic patterns, shadows, abstracts, mehndi, wax crayon, sponge and footprinting.
