Father’s Day was celebrated at the GIIS Tokyo, Kindergarten campus on 16th June 2023.

This day celebrated and honoured the Fathers and father figures in a student’s life. A father’s selfless love is pivotal in nurturing each child. Children celebrate Father’s Day yearly to honour a father’s unconditional love.

This occasion was celebrated to express gratitude towards each student’s father, for all their unconditional love and support. The cherry on the cake was the exciting card-making activity which was conducted to express the students’ unrestricted love towards their fathers.

The students unleashed their creativity and expressed it in words on beautiful handwritten cards. Each card was engraved with captions like “The Greatest Gift I Ever Had Comes from God – I call him Dad”, “Dad, you are Batman, Superman, and my superhero” and "Dad you are the best pop!" These beautiful words exemplify that fathers are the first heroes in their child’s life.
