Meet Our New IB PYP Coordinator Mr. Jordan Bonnardel
 

A trilingual educator bringing distinguished international experience to GIIS Tokyo's IB Primary Years Programme

Global Indian International School (GIIS) Tokyo is honoured to welcome Mr. Jordan Bonnardel as its new IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator. His appointment underscores the school's unwavering commitment to excellence within its International Baccalaureate offering, and to fostering learning environments where both students and educators are empowered to thrive.

Mr. Bonnardel brings over eight years of dedicated experience in education, underpinned by a Bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences. His professional journey spans three countries, France, the United States, and Japan, a trajectory that has afforded him a rare and valuable perspective on how curricula, pedagogy, and classroom culture differ across educational systems. This global fluency will serve as a distinct asset within GIIS Tokyo's richly multicultural community.

At the core of Mr. Bonnardel's educational philosophy is a deep commitment to the IB Framework and inquiry based learning. He believes that the most meaningful classrooms are those built on curiosity, spaces where students are encouraged to question, explore, and discover, and where teachers are equally supported to bring that same spirit of inquiry into their craft.

Reflecting on his new role, Mr. Bonnardel shared,

In his capacity as IB PYP Coordinator, Mr. Bonnardel will provide curriculum leadership across the PYP, working closely with teachers and administration to uphold and advance the rigorous, transdisciplinary standards that define GIIS Tokyo's approach to international education.
