A mother is an incredible gift of God and that she is the only one who lovingly gives shape and direction to our lives.To celebrate this beautiful person and the wonderful bond between the children and the mothers- GIIS Kindergarteners celebrated Mother's Day with our supermoms- wherin  a celebration was organized by inviting all mother’s to the ‘Global Indian International School’, as part of the Parent Partnership Program.

The children were excited to receive their mothers in class. The mothers along with the children performed on jolly phonics drill which they enjoyed doing together.

Mothers were shown video clippings of their child expressing their love and wishes which got mother’s moved to tears.

 The Kindergarteners were given an opportunity to show their appreciation for their mothers. They made lovely cards, sang beautiful songs to express their love for their mothers.

Children presented a drama and dance performance for mothers which was overwhelming. Our support staff was excited to present their dancing skills for our mothers and children. To add a spark to the event ,mothers presented a surprise dance for our children.

This event helped in the following :

-         Help strengthen the bond between mother and child.

-         Development of the sense of belongingness.

-         Improves social skills and facilitate self -esteem
