The spirit of victory strongly emitted in the air as the Tokyo campus of Global Indian International School, Japan was awarded the prestigious Golden Peacock Award for Business Excellence 2018 for best management practises in the field of education.
The award, bestowed by the Institute of Directors (IOD), was presented on April 17, 2018 at the Hotel St. Regis in Dubai, United Arab Emirates to mark the 28th World Congress on Leadership for Business Excellence and Innovation.
UAE cabinet minister and Minister of Tolerance, His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan graced as the chief guest on the occasion.
The award consisted of a trophy and certificate and the winners were awarded at a special session during the convention.
GIIS Tokyo was recognised for its best executions in management practises. The jury was chaired by Justice (Dr) Arijit Pasayat, a former judge at Supreme Court of India, the nation’s highest judicial body.
“We are honoured to be recognised by such an esteemed organisation. The award is a recognition of all the hard work and dedication of our team, and a testimony of the quality of service provided by our school”, said GIIS co-founder and chairman Mr Atul Temurnikar.
Instituted by IOD in 1991, the Golden Peacock Awards are regarded as a benchmark of Corporate Excellence worldwide. Attaining this award adds on to our over-100 number of growing accolades that recognizes our holistic approach to educating students through the 9GEMS pedagogy which focuses on imparting confidence and critical thinking skills in our students.
