GIIS students achieve @aps@Top in the World@aps@ results in Cambridge Learner Awards

Education Fair 2015-16

Six learner(s) from Global Indian International School (GIIS) in Singapore have received prestigious awards from Cambridge International Examinations to acknowledge their outstanding performance in the June 2015 Cambridge IGCSE Class 10 examination.

Cambridge Top in the World awards recognise the success of learners who have achieved the highest standard mark in the world for a single subject. The following learners at GIIS received a Cambridge Top in the World award:

Mr GSS Rao, Director (Operations), Global Indian International School said that the awards recognised the talent, dedication and commitment of both learners and staff. “We are proud of remarkable results achieved by our students in the IGCSE examinations. The ‘Top in the World’ awards achieved by students reinforces our belief of excellence in education. It also demonstrates our students’ aspirations and steadfast commitment to achieve the highest standards of excellence”, he said.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) has been designed by Cambridge International Examinations, UK.

Global Indian International School (GIIS) in Singapore offers the Cambridge IGCSE programme for Classes 8 to 10. New students seeking admission to Class 8 or existing students promoted to Class 8 have an option of choosing either CBSE or IGCSE.

Class 8 IGCSE is a foundation course and Classes 9 and 10 form the Cambridge IGCSE course leading to certification from Cambridge International Examinations on successful completion.
