Music, movement and excitement filled the campus as students from different schools came together for the Inter-School Solo & Group Dance Competition – “Jhankaar.” Designed as a platform for young dancers to showcase their talent, the event encouraged students to express themselves, explore their creativity and perform with confidence.

Enthusiastic participation was seen across both Solo and Group Dance categories, with students presenting a wonderful mix of dance forms and styles. Every performance brought something different to the stage. From powerful expressions and energetic movements to creative choreography and impressive coordination, the participants showcased their preparation, dedication and love for dance.

For many students, stepping onto a stage in front of an audience can be both exciting and nerve-racking. Jhankaar gave them an opportunity to overcome those nerves, believe in their abilities and enjoy the experience of performing. Group performances also highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline and synchronisation, while solo acts allowed individual dancers to bring their own personality and style to the performance.

Performances were evaluated on choreography, synchronisation, expression, technique, creativity and overall presentation. Winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates, while every participant received a participation certificate in appreciation of their efforts. Each performance reflected the time, practice and commitment that went into preparing for the competition.

Behind every confident performance was the guidance and encouragement of a teacher. Recognising their valuable contribution, special goody bags were presented to the Dance Teachers from the participating schools as a gesture of appreciation. Refreshments were also provided to all participants, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the event.

More than a competition, Jhankaar became a day of shared experiences, new friendships and joyful moments. Students cheered for one another, enjoyed different styles of dance and had the chance to connect with young performers from other schools.

By bringing together talent, creativity and a genuine love for dance, Jhankaar created a memorable platform for students to perform, grow in confidence and celebrate the joy of being on stage.
