K2 Graduation Day was celebrated with great joy and pride, marking an important milestone in the early learning journey of our young learners. The event was graced by esteemed guests, Ms. Preetha D. Mello and Dr. Nagarajan, whose presence added meaning and inspiration to the occasion.

The programme began on a delightful note with our tiny anchors confidently leading the event. They beautifully reflected on the children’s journey, recalling how the first day was filled with tears, which soon turned into smiles as they formed new friends, played with toys, and had a joyful learning environment. Over time, these little learners grew in confidence and completed an important phase of their education.

Adding to the vibrancy of the celebration, students from other grades performed lively dance performances, a visual treat for the audience. Their energetic performances uplifted the atmosphere and brought enthusiasm to the entire gathering, making the event even more memorable.

Dr. Nagarajan, National Academic Head, delivered an insightful address, highlighting the importance of life skills, decision-making, and taking ownership of one’s actions. He encouraged parents to engage with their children by asking a simple yet powerful question: “What question did you ask today?” He emphasised that nurturing curiosity is essential for a child’s future. His thought-provoking message, “We should teach children to ask the right question to the right people at the right time,” resonated deeply with the audience and drew warm applause.

Ms. Preetha D. Mello, Guest of Honour, shared valuable thoughts inspired by the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. She spoke about the importance of values, kindness, and courage and highlighted that meaningful learning happens when a child feels safe. She also encouraged giving children the freedom to make choices and learn the art of socialising.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of graduation certificates, accompanied by a presentation capturing the children’s journey through everyday activities such as playing, learning, and engaging with their peers. It reflected their growth and joyful moments in school, ending on a heartwarming note as each child confidently shared their dream of what they aspire to become, from doctors and scientists to pilots and more. Their peers cheered them on, creating an atmosphere of unity, encouragement, and celebration.
