Global Indian International School Ahmedabad organized an extensive two-day Virtual Orientation Programme spanning from 26th to 27th  March 2021 for the new set of parents of  Pre Primary to Grade 2 & Grades 3 to 9 respectively.

The main objective of this programme was to lay the foundation for the new parents, to familiarize them with the curriculum, teaching methodologies, evaluation system, co-scholastic activities, and various other programmes of the school.

The parents were briefed about the major milestones achieved by the school in the Academic Year 2020-21. Important information regarding the commencement of the new session, availability of books, uniform, transport, and other facilities, deadlines for submission of admission documents, mode of fee payment, mode of communication with the school, and other relevant details were provided to the parents.

The Co-ordinators of each segment gave an overview of the Curriculum and the Assessment Pattern followed by the school.  The Progress Report Card formats were also presented to the parents. The GIIS 9GEMS philosophy, Alumni, and University Connect Programmes were introduced to the parents. The co-scholastic activities were also touched upon. 

The Principal, Mr. Caesar D’silva, GIIS Ahmedabad apprised the parents about Global Schools Foundation network and the vision, mission, and core values of GIIS. He emphasized the importance of effective communication between parents and teachers and active collaboration between the school and parents. He also expressed hope that the journey of the new students and parents with GIIS Ahmedabad will be a happy and fruitful one.

The Orientation was very successful as it made the parents aware of the readiness of the school to welcome the students in the New Academic Session.
