Dear Friends,

On the commencement of the GS20 or Global Schools 20th year anniversary celebrations, we extend our warmest greetings and best wishes to the entire GIIS Ahmedabad family. We also thank each and every student, parent and teacher fraternity for supporting GIIS Ahmedabad to reach this remarkable milestone of success.

Since its inception in 2014, GIIS Ahmedabad campus has shown leadership in our endeavour to excellence in holistic education. GIIS Ahmedabad is one of our finest campuses where the faculty, staff, students and parents are fully tuned in to all that the school has to offer in terms of excellence in education.

The GIIS Ahmedabad campus, under leadership of Mr Caesar DSilva and his highly accomplished team of Vice Principal and Coordinators,  has carved a niche for itself as one of the top schools not only in Gujarat, not only in India but in the Asian region as well.

Within just six years, GIIS Ahmedabad has shown exponential growth as a K12 school, with the first batch of Grade 12 students graduating this year.

In fact, one of our students has even received a full scholarship  for higher studies in the US.

With its carefully nurtured infrastructure, GIIS Ahmedabad provides the perfect environment for 21st century futuristic learning. GIIS Ahmedabad has also given a headstart to our students in the skills education carefully equipping them with relevant future skills.

This will help GIIS Ahmedabad students to be better prepared as leaders  to deal with uncertain times and future career opportunities. The GIIS Ahmedabad students are encouraged to excel in what they do, and access every opportunity to showcase their talent.

As a result, the students of GIIS Ahmedabad have regularly brought laurels for their parents and the school from the very first year itself. Neev Kanani has done well in Performing Arts through the Shekhar Ravjiani School of Music, and has won multiple awards at various competitions.

Other students like Ayaan Chettiar have excelled in U-7 Chess tournaments, and Neerja Shah competed in Swimming at National Levels.

This is clear evidence of the our 9GEMS programme, which has given an excellent opportunity and a platform to GIIS Ahmedabad students to excel beyond Academics. And research has shown, when these students excel beyond academics, they do well in academics as well.

This is just to name a few. Aside from these students, there are many more GIIS Ahmedabad students who have achieved several accolades in every possible field. Some have even seen their achievements getting mentioned on the Global School News website which has become a great place to showcase our students' talents.

We are confident that every single GIIS Ahmedabad student, just like their Alumni, will make all their parents and teachers proud. 

We are also thankful to the parents who have worked tirelessly and in tandem with the faculty to make all our student programmes a huge success.

This wonderful collaboration between  the GIIS Ahmedabad community of parents and school has led to some amazing accolades and accomplishments like the wins in inter-school contests and national events. 

The GIIS Ahmedabad has consistently achieved 100% results in CBSE Board Exams in both 10th and 12th grades.

The first batch of Grade 12 passed out in the year 2021 with the top student scoring 95.6% marks, while the highest scorer in Grade 10 achieved 98.8%. Students like Mril D’Silva have received scholarships to study in a US university, which just goes to show the quality of our GIIS Ahmedabad academics and the efforts of our teachers to help students excel in their areas.

Being true to the GSF spirit, GIIS Ahmedabad has lived up to its multi-award winning flagship programme of enhancing the Sustainable Development goals and the green cover within the area. GIIS Ahmedabad has state of the art & functional infrastructure.

To extend the benefits of GIIS Ahmedabad to more students, the Phase 2 of the school building was added in the year 2018. Subsequently Phase 3 of the school building is in the design and approval stage.

Over the years, GIIS Ahmedabad grew in reputation for being a very Caring and Kind school. It was a proud moment for all of us when GIIS Ahmedabad bagged two prestigious awards at the Asian Leadership Summit and the World Education Summit.

Here GIIS Ahmedabad was hailed as a school with outstanding contribution to education and innovative pedagogical practises respectively.

GIIS Ahmedabad crossed many other milestones as well. GIIS Ahmedabad received the prestigious IMCRB National Quality Award for building responsible green citizens, and for the Promise V2 balance score card certificate of merit for finance and business excellence. 

Safety criteria was also achieved by GIIS Ahmedabad which is evident from certification for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. Today, as GIIS Ahmedabad students and teachers commence this iconic year with their celebrations, let us all join and give them a big round of virtual applause and wish them the very best for their year long celebrations.
