Students of CBSE Grade 10 at GIIS Tokyo campus achieved success with 100% of the cohort securing distinction in May 2018. The effort and hard work poured in by the students has bore fruit as the school’s average score stands at a whopping 91.5%, setting new benchmarks in the school’s history.
After completing the CBSE exams, students were thrilled to receive the results of their effort during declaration of the results.
With a average score of 96%, Bhavya Gummadi has emerged as the school’s topper. Coming in second position is Dnyanda Kulkarni, who has scored 95.4%, with Nupura Prabhune and VeenaLahari Venkatesh securing the third position with a score of 93.4%.
“GIIS is dedicated to providing quality education of global standard. The current excellent results are a testimony to that," said Mr Rajeev Katyal, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of GIIS.
In response to the results, Tokyo Principal Ms Rajeswary Sambathrajan said: “The tremendous efforts of our teachers have borne fruit. We are proud of our students' achievements.” She added that the results are the reflection of teachers’s dedication in teaching and motivating students to give their best efforts at all times.
