The Kindergarten students of the GIIS Tokyo SSD campus celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm. The parents of kindergarten students were also invited to join the bright celebration.

The festival of lights was celebrated with diyas, rangoli, and lanterns that adorned the classroom.

Our young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries by marking the occasion with an assembly that was organized on Tuesday, 25th October 2022.

It started with a solemn prayer and a beautiful thought, which filled everyone's hearts and minds with love and harmony. Additionally, the students watched a video about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered evil, and how Diwali is celebrated across India.

The Diwali celebration included a poem sung by K2 students in Hindi, lantern making, diya decorating and lighting firecrackers. The entire day was filled with the spirit of Diwali, and students and parents enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.

The festive Diwali celebration was wonderfully captured by the NHK channel, which visited the campus during the event.
