Global Indian International School (GIIS) Tokyo is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our students in the IGCSE examinations held in 2024. This year's results reflect the dedication, hard work, and commitment of our students, staff, and the broader GIIS community.
 

A total of 22 students successfully attempted the IGCSE exams this year, with the school achieving an impressive average score of 73.28%. This is a testament to the rigorous academic environment and the holistic educational approach we uphold at GIIS Tokyo.
 

We are delighted to share that 14% of our students achieved A*/A grades in all the subjects they attempted, while 23% of our students attained grades of B or above across all their subjects. Furthermore, 32% of our students secured an average score of over 80%, showcasing the academic excellence that GIIS Tokyo continually strives to nurture.
 

We would like to extend special congratulations to Simona Taira, who has secured the top position in our school with a remarkable score of 91%. Simona's outstanding performance in Economics, where she scored 95%, along with her above 90% scores in almost all subjects, is truly commendable. Following closely, Priyanshi Shinghal achieved a distinguished score of 89.1%, further demonstrating the calibre of our students. Other notable achievements include Sheikh Namir Farjan with 84%, Nathan Santosh with 83.4%, Ryo Takagi with 83.3%, Olivia Lily Swarts with 82.6%, and Mikoto Dannoue with 82.3%.
 

Our students have also excelled in specific subjects, with 100% of them achieving A* or A grades in IGCSE O Level Tamil. In IGCSE Information & Communication Technology, 46% of our students earned A* or A grades, while 41% achieved the same in AS Level Japanese. Additionally, 36% of our students scored A* or A in IGCSE Physics, and 32% of our students attained A* or A grades in IGCSE Extended Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry.
 

These results are not just numbers but reflect the hard work, resilience, and perseverance of our students. They also highlight the unwavering support and guidance provided by our teachers, who go above and beyond to ensure that every student at GIIS Tokyo reaches their full potential. We are equally grateful to our parents, whose continuous encouragement and involvement play a crucial role in their children's academic journeys.
