Students of Grades 1-5 thrilled to get their own iPads for school work

Grades 1-5 students were full of excitement as they received individual iPads from the school in November 2018. iPad 9.7" along with BumpCase, has been issued to the students as a learning tool that they will use for their classwork and access additional learning material.

The iPads were distributed to the students in the learning commons of the primary section. Amidst the excitement, students were also eager to learn how to use their new Apple device. The class teachers assisted them in basic configurations like time and date and WI-FI.

Along with the iPad, the students were also provided individual Apple IDs that are generated by the Student Service Centre at school. The students will use the same ID for accessing any information on the iPad.

As a measure of control, the school is configuring the iPads with selected learning apps as suggested by the teachers, which will help the students in their educational journey. For initial few months the students will be required to leave the device in the classroom, and from January 2019, they can bring their iPads home during the weekends.

The curiosity of the students was worth noticing as they handled the device for the first time in school.

In an endeavour to provided 21st-century learning resources to the students, suitable Apple devices have been made available to all the SMART Campus students of Grades 1-12.
