Defending champions GIIS SMART Campus won the silver medal in the fifth edition of the Chandu Borde GIIS T20 Cricket Tournament held at GIIS East Coast Campus. 

SMART Campus Team beat UWC (Dover) in the first game, and then won against tournament favourites Anglo Chinese School (ACS) in the semifinals before losing the top spot to Singapore Cricket Association in the finals.

GIIS was the winner in the previous four editions of the tournament. 

This year eight teams from local and international schools participated in the four-day knockout event .

SMART CAMPUS Principal Ms Melissa Maria gave away medals and trophies to the winners, and praised the quality of teams participating in the event. She also thanked participating players, coaches, managers and others for making this tournament a grand success.
