Appreciating the tireless efforts put in by the community helpers, the SMART Campus CBSE Grade 1 students celebrated Labour Day on April 28, 2022. The young students marked the occasion by taking part in different creative and engaging activities. The students came dressed up as different community helpers such as doctors, nurses, teachers, pilots, police, etc. 

On the occasion, the students shared their thoughts and discussed the importance of the community helpers and their immense contribution to the society. The young learners also enthusiastically took part in a craft activity, wherein they made beautiful thank you flowers to express their gratitude as they gifted them to the members of the school support staff such as guards, nannies, and canteen staff.

GIIS has always emphasised the importance of inculcating the right values among its students through its 9 GEMS pedagogy so that every student grows up to become responsible citizens of society. Through initiatives like this, the students get an opportunity to learn valuable lessons on community care and good morals.
