PYP students explore Willy Wonka's World celebrating Annual Day

On March 9, SMART Campus’ PYP Grades 1 to 5 students celebrated their annual day with a delightful homage to Roald Dahl's beloved tale, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. From the whimsical Oompa Loompas to the endearing Charlie Bucket, the audience, adorned with golden tickets, were treated to a magical experience.

Grades 1 to 3 dazzled the audience with a captivating musical, bringing to life the quirky characters of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Their enthusiastic performances left the audience spellbound, marking a first-of-its-kind event. Mr Benedict Hung, Senior IB World School Manager and IB Relationship Manager for GIIS and Cyberlite co-founder, Ms Nina Bual, graced the event and added to the grandeur of the occasion.

Grades 4 and 5 transported the audience into the heart of the chocolate factory with a lively skit and musical rendition. Through their stellar performances, including musical numbers, guitar and piano solos, and meticulously choreographed dances, they breathed life into the beloved characters.

Through the magic of storytelling and performance, students not only entertained but also inspired their peers and teachers alike. Events like these not only provide a platform for students to showcase their talents but also foster creativity, collaboration, and a sense of community among them.
