The primary division of the GIIS SMART Campus conducted a clothes donation drive on July 29, 2022, wherein students from CBSE Grades 1 to 5 participated wholeheartedly. The idea behind the initiative was to educate young learners that the effective usage of resources can help protect the environment apart from aiding help to those in need. 

The students enthusiastically donated their used clothes for the kind act and the clothes collected across all primary classrooms were neatly packed and delivered to the Salvation Army which was further sent out to the various local and international beneficiaries based on their needs. Overwhelmed by the generous donations of clothes by the primary students, the Salvation Army lauded the school with a certificate of appreciation. 

GIIS has always emphasised on the importance of inculcating good moral values in its students by taking numerous initiatives from time to time. Opportunities like this allow the students to do their part in lending a helping hand and lay the stepping stones for them to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.
