Aligned with Alexander Graham Bell’s quote, “Before anything else, preparation is the key to success,” the GIIS SMART Campus hosted the esteemed Singapore University Fair on February 3, 2024. The primary aim of the fair was to empower students with essential knowledge to navigate their future university endeavours. 

Drawing a crowd of over 400 attendees, including students and parents from grades 9 to 12, the event featured renowned institutions such as National University Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, and Singapore Management University, among others. 

A standout feature of the fair was the series of special talks led by the admissions departments of NUS and NTU. These sessions provided students with invaluable insights into the academic and extracurricular offerings of these esteemed universities. Moreover, the presence of GIIS Alumni from these institutions at their respective booths offered our students a firsthand account of the transition from GIIS to their chosen university, offering a unique student perspective.

In essence, the university fair served as more than just an exhibition of educational opportunities; it served as a dynamic platform for students to gain clarity on their higher education options and embark on their journey with a sense of preparedness.
