A team of nine students from Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida participated in the inter-school football tournament held at Mahamaya Stadium Ghaziabad, and have bagged third spot in the tournament. Pelting several other promising teams from schools all over Noida, our team did exceptionally well. Two of the team members namely Aaditya Vivek Prasad and Manish Miglani have made us all the more proud by achieving man of the match trophy for the games played against Children’s Academy Ghaziabad and KDB Ghaziabad respectively.

Our budding footballers performed with exceptional calibre and skill in the Under-14 Boys category, and won the league match and quarter final round of the matches played with the two teams mentioned earlier. In the first league match, which is the qualifying round, team GIIS Noida won with a score of 1-4.

In the second match, team GIIS Noida defeated the KDB Ghaziabad team by scoring 3 points against 1. Let’s have look at the names of the U-14 football team of the school:
