Exams are an important part of students' learning journey, but they often bring stress and anxiety along. With the right support and guidance, students can learn to manage stress and approach exams with confidence.
Keeping this in mind, GIIS Noida organised a special workshop on “Exam with Joy - Stress Less, Score More!” aimed at helping students manage exam stress using effective techniques and strategies, so they can face their exams with confidence and a positive mindset.
The workshop was conducted by Dr Umesh Sharma, a respected psychiatrist and author. He is known for guiding students towards emotional balance and healthy learning practices. Dr Umesh’s session engaged students preparing for board exams. During his session, he shared some simple and effective ways to manage exam anxiety. He also introduced the cohort with some useful breathing exercises and healthy discussions, which can help them relax their minds and stay focused.
Dr Umesh also shared simple techniques to remember lessons better, improve focus, and study efficiently without much stress. He encouraged students to share their problems with their teachers or parents so they can get help and combat their stress levels. With his guidance, students felt more relaxed, focused and better prepared to face the upcoming exams. Teachers and parents also appreciated the school’s efforts in creating a positive exam environment and supporting student well-being.
The workshop helped students feel prepared for exams and reminded them that learning can be both joyful and stress-free. Workshops like these are a significant example of how GIIS Noida believes in providing holistic development to its students, helping them grow not only academically but also in confidence and everyday skills. By guiding students to handle challenges with confidence, the school aims to prepare them for higher studies and future careers, both personally and professionally.
