Every child learns best when they are offered the platform to explore and experience new things. The Global Excellence Day competition hosted by GIIS Smart Campus, Punggol, provided an opportunity for two of our talented students - Ayushman Kumar Panigrahi (Grade 5E) and Reyansh Sharma (Grade 4D), under the leadership of Ms. Priyanka Roy, to step outside of their shells, showcase their creativity, and gain real-life experience on an international stage. 

The event brought together bright young minds from around the world, each eager to share their creative ideas and innovative projects. It was wonderful to see students not only showcasing their talent but also building confidence as they communicated, collaborated, and learned from one another. The experience gave them a chance to exchange ideas, receive encouraging feedback from mentors, and discover the joy of learning through curiosity and teamwork.

Apart from the exhibition, our students' experience was enhanced by the educational tours across Singapore. They were taken to visit many famous monuments, historical sites, and iconic museums in the country. These visits helped our students to gain a better understanding of Singapore’s culture, history and innovations in real time. These experiences even allowed students to connect classroom learning with the real world, encouraging experiential learning, curiosity, and critical thinking.

Congratulations to our students for their outstanding participation and for representing the school with such enthusiasm. The experience at the exhibition was very inspiring and motivating for them to explore new things.
