Mothers are the true epitome of unconditional love, purest form of care that human race has ever seen or ever will. To celebrate motherhood and pay a heartfelt tribute, the pre-primary wing of Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida celebrated the special bond between a mother and her child in the most lovable fashion - by conducting a huge special assembly led by KG students in May 2018. It was a day of colour, happiness and emotions that run through our mothers and teachers as they saw their kids performing on stage. A warm welcome by the respective class teachers was given to all the mothers who joined us for the pious celebrations. Mothers from each section of the KG classes were dressed in colourful outfits and as per the theme shared (KG-A mothers were dressed in shades of Red, KG-B mothers in shades of yellow, so on and so forth). Meaningful thoughts, poems, quotes, rhymes, etc. were shared on mothers to depict the amount of love they have for their presence in our lives. Tiny feet and hands set the atmosphere all the more magical as students took over the stage with their dance performance. They danced to the tunes of songs like “Mumma, tu kitni achi hai” and “I love you mommy”, leaving everyone in the audience misty eyed. To make the day all the more special for the doting mothers, a dancing statue game was organized; all the mothers came on stage section by section and played the game of turning into a statue as the music stops. Mothers are known to be the human form of God, a form so pure and unmatched for anyone of us to have. They bring so much joy, comfort and happiness in our lives in one way or the other; she makes sure that her child (children) get the best of everything. Saluting the unrivalled bond and the unconditional love, mother’s day celebrations in the campus was an attempt to bring out that special connection all the children share with their mothers, and give all the mothers some more memories to reminisce their little one’s innocence. |
